"Are you not entertained?"
I know. It's overused.

Do you value ๐—˜๐—ป๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ or ๐™„๐™ฃ๐™›๐™ค๐™ฉ๐™–๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™ข๐™š๐™ฃ๐™ฉ? Will it be $200 for Disney, Netflix, and Prime or monthly access to ChatGPT ($20) and Infinite Knowledge and Dialogue?

In today's world, we find ourselves at a crossroads between traditional entertainment and the emerging AI-driven infotainment. With monthly subscriptions to giants like Disney (~$20/mo) vying against the allure of 'all-knowing AI' services (~$20/mo), we're prompted to question the true value of these offerings.

What's more important? Is the escapism of Disney's cinematic universe more enriching, or does AI's tailored, insightful content hold greater worth for the average individual?

I already know the answer, but this will require a big behavior change.

โ–ซ๏ธ Entertainment vs. Infotainment: A $20/month question you need to think about.

โ–ซ๏ธ Disney's creative storytelling vs. AI's personalized knowledge access

โ–ซ๏ธ The impact on the average person's life and preferences

But there's more to this. In a conversation with a close friend, we explored the depths of human interactions. Most of us skim the surface in conversations, covering many topics without delving deeper than three feet. We wade through a lot.

But, with certain friends or family, I experience a 20-foot dive into subjects, a significant deepening. Still, with others, ย as with my brother James Ward, those conversations plunge to an overwhelming depth of 200 feet. (I drown with him.)

This brings us to a pivotal question: Can AI not only enable us to reach these profound depths in conversations but also help us navigate them? Think of it as scuba diving for dialogues, where AI acts as the guide that helps us acclimatize at various depths, ensuring we're not overwhelmed by the pressure of deep conversations.

โ–ซ๏ธ AI will enable the average person to have deep, meaningful conversations about almost any topic, idea, or issue

This development in AI technology stands to revolutionize how we engage with one another. Integrating AI into our daily discourse could redefine the boundaries of human connection and understanding.

Or we could watch the next Mandalorian episode.

There's an interesting article on conversation depth linked below.
